The lack of an Indian brand specializing in a variety of burgers became the catalyst for Biraja Rout to embark on his journey of establishing Biggies Burger.
At that time, Biraja Rout was working in an IT company and had no prior experience in running any business. However, he believed in himself and made the decision to open a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) chain under the name of Biggies Burger.
With only this determination, he started the venture with just ₹20,000. Sharing more in his interview, Biraja mentioned that he took the risk of starting this business with limited funds. With only ₹20,000, he established a small stall for Biggies Burger. After some time of running the stall, he made the bold decision to quit his job and dedicate his entire time to his business.
Gradually, Biraja’s Biggies Burger brand became quite famous in the area, attracting thousands of customers daily. It’s worth noting that Biraja had no prior knowledge of making burgers; he acquired the necessary skills by learning from YouTube and started selling burgers.
In addition to his business income, Biraja used to save two thousand rupees from his earnings every month, aiming to elevate his business to a larger scale.
